Take a drive from Kirk Ella through West Ella to Swanland and you will find some of the most desirable properties in the area. A Great walk to take on a summer evening.

lovely quiet village

lived here 10 years and it is a lovely village with lovely people. everyone is so friendly and welcoming and will always help out if needed. The school is very small and is excellent, theres a play park for children and it's a safe place to live.

A good all-round city !

A good all-round city ! Not too big nor not too small. Plenty of amenities and close to the coast. Also a wealth of history.

Coffee, cake, persian or a pint?

Recommend you visit Atkinsons in Willerby for a coffee, sandwich, cake or all three! for an evening meal with a difference I would recommend the Saffron, persian food at it's best. fancy a pint? suggest Kirk Ella's hub's of the Wheatsheaf and Beech Tree. If you need a place to meet or have a meeting I would suggest the Willerby Manor Hotel.

Beverley is a friendly market town

Beverley is a very friendly market town. It has shops, pubs and restaurants. It also has a racecourse. Houses are more expensive here compared to neighbouring villages as you are paying for the facilities.

In my village kirk Ella very safe

In my village kirk Ella little cause of concern either when it comes to crime. I could see people being put off by some problem areas in hull for example. But they would have probably been put off without the crime map anyway.

On a holiday route

The town is on the main Lincoln-Skegness road. Traffic is not usually a problem but in the summer months there can be some delays due to the holiday through traffic.

There is an excellent Indian at Shiptonthorpe, VeRaj about 20 min drive from Fridaythorpe.

Beverley is a market town noted for many things

Beverley is a market town noted for Beverley Minster and architecturally-significant religious buildings along New Walk and other areas, as well as the Beverley Racecourse and the market place; the town itself is around 1,300 years old. It is also home to the oldest Grammar school in the country, Beverley Grammar School.

Go to Louth or any small town round here and there are lots of restaurants. In Cleethorpes your choices are fish and chips or expensive.

Beverley is the best place in yorkshire

Beverley is the best place to live in East Yorkshire. It has a great selection of shops, restaurants, and pubs. There is also a great market every Saturday with top class food, speciality staffs and general market fare. In summer, the town is packed with festivals, jazz, folk, puppetry, food, comedy, classic cars, armed forces day, re-enacting historic battles, the list is almost endless! A traditional market town with loads of lovely buildings in its Conservation area. It is adjacent to open countyrside and not far from the coastand so handy to get into the city of Hull. Good range of local shops, restaurants/cafes, pubs, a library, churches, schools and pleasant country walks. It really is a great place to bring up a family. Property prices in Cleethorpes are some of the lowest in the country for properties along a coastline. The area is mainly unspolit with coastal walks and countryside walks a short distance away in the Wolds. Average prices are well below the UK average and bargains can be had for people moving into the area. Humberston, Waltham, Tetney are popular villages around Cleethorpes.

Moved to Lincoln recently

Recently moved to the lincoln area with work. Nice place, seems well served on most fronts although would have to say that the condition of the roads is appalling even in todays climate!! Whilst looking for a property friends in the area recommended Walters and am pleased they did, excellent service and really professional, found us the PERFECT property and we are really happy here in Lincoln.

great if all you eat is fish and chips .The best place is the mexican in bridge street the rest of it is stodge @chips in large amounts which adds to the huge waistlines of the visitors

I like the queens head on the main street for a quick pint - the quiz night on Tuesday nights is def worth going to. Also only a small thing but if you go to their website u can print a voucher for a free drink.
